Abracadabra.....

Mijn foto's maakte ik altijd met een digitaal compact cameraatje, dat alles automatisch deed. Nu ik wat langer fotografeer, bemerk ik dat ik niet de foto's kan maken, die ik graag zou willen maken. Ikzelf heb de kennis niet, maar ook de camera niet. Daarom ben ik een basisopleiding begonnen op de FVS, de FotoVakSchool. Voor deze opleiding moest ik echter wel een nieuwe digitale spiegelreflex camera aanschaffen en vanaf vandaag is het groene vierkantje - de automaat dus - volledig verboden. Ik moet gaan fotograferen op half automatische en compleet handmatige standen en dan zelf sluitertijd en/of diafragma instellen!! Vandaag heb ik mijn eerste lesdag gehad en het duizelt me nog! De uitleg begreep ik uitstekend, maar het toepassen.....het is alsof ik nog nooit een camera gebruikt heb! Er gaat een wereld voor me open:-)
Ik hoop dat het niet al te lang zal duren voor ik een fatsoenlijke foto kan maken...

My photographs were always taken with a little digital compact camera, which did everything for me. Now that I'm taking pictures for some time, I realized I can't make them the way I would like to. I don't have the knowlegde and I don't have the right camera. That's why I started with an photographers college. For this college I needed to buy a digital SLR camera and as of today the green square - the autimatic position - is forbidden. I have to take pictures on half-automatic and totally manual positions and choosing shutter and/or aperture myself!! Today I had my first class and my head is still swimming! I understood the information, but working with it....it's like I've never held a camera before! There's a new world before me:-)
I hope it won't take long before I can make a decent photograph...
