Mag ik even voorstellen...?
Nou, ze zijn er hoor! Achterin onze tuin zitten in een giga konijnenhok (bloed, zweet en tranen...) twee schattige konijntjes. Mijn dochters waren vanmorgen idioot vroeg wakker van de zenuwen. Ook ik was zenuwachtig, maar dan meer omdat het hok nog net niet helemaal af was. Maar! Het is gelukt! De meiden hebben (nogal voorspelbare) namen bedacht en dit zijn ze dan:
Well, they're here! In our backyard are now living in a large hutch (blood, sweat and tears...) two adorable little rabbits. My daughters woke up very early this morning because of the nerves. I was also nervous, but that was because the hutch wasn't ready yet. But! I made it! The girls made up (kind of predictable) names and here they are:
NIJNTJE (MIFFY)
en ROOSJE (ROSY)
Zijn ze niet vreselijk lief? En dit is het hok:
Aren't they terribly sweet? And this is the hutch:
Nijntje is erg ondernemend, durfde vrij snel de trap te nemen naar beneden en speelde met het blokhutje wat daar staat. Later heb ik Roosje erbij gezet en die vond het ook helemaal leuk. Ze eten en drinken, dus dat zit snor. Ook hebben ze al met Noor geneusd, die het allemaal maar wat spannend vond. "Het vrouwtje praat zo lief tegen die beesten, maar zijn dat niet van die dingen die ik moet opeten??" Noor heeft getracht de konijnen te hypnotiseren, maar ze hupten vrolijk rond en deden alsof ze de deerhounds al jaren kenden. Nina, de poes, had ook een ietwat prooi-bespringerige houding en heeft alle kanten van het hok bekeken. Gelukkig zit het gaas overal goed vast:-)
Miffy is very enterprising, dared to take the stairs down quickly and played with the little wooden house wich is there. Later I put Rosy there too and she liked it also. They drink and eat, so that's okay. They nosed with Noortje, who thought it was all very exciting. "The boss is talking sweet to them, but shouldn't I eat those things??" Noor tried to hypnotize them, but the rabbits couldn't care less and it was like they know the deerhounds for years now. Nina, the cat, also had a kind of prey-jumping-attitude and checked out all the sides of the hutch. Fortunately the wire netting is steady as a rock:-)
